Wells, Maine

Today we are in a little beach community of Wells, Maine, however, these little beach towns all run together.  The staff here at the park gave us a recommendation to a little fishing village called Perkins Cove.  One wrong turn and we ended up in a totally different town.  Huuummmm.  Anyway we went down on the beach where there are lifeguards posted but no one near the water.  Pretty windy and cloudy today.

Went to Billy's Chowder House and I had the lobster chowder and Ken had the clam chowder.  The clam was very different than we get at home.  It was a very thin, cream and butter broth with potatoes and whole clams made very much like the lobster chowder.  Yum, Yum anyway.  

We then went over to the park that the Fantasy RV group is at, only two miles from where we are staying.  We received our welcome packet and the mandatory name tags, oh fun!!  We have decided that we are going to tour with them tomorrow since it will be a bus tour.  Meet them at 9:00am,  YEAH ! !
