Free travel day

The timing was great that this was a free day with the Fantasy RV Tour group so we didn't miss anything that was scheduled for today. We got up and headed for Concord NH to pick up our forwarded mail and then on up to Warner to get the motor home.  Of course, it was not ready but really didn't expect it to be, just hoping.  We got there about 12:30 and were told it was gonna be more like 5:00.  Hummm, what to do??  Well, we decided to go grocery shopping since we were warned that the next few travel days were gonna be packed with sightseeing and long.  Got that done and went back to the shop and waited.  My golly, about 4 we decided to see if we could maybe get the paperwork started so we could maybe get outta there sometime tonight. They had to, of course, check to make sure that our wire transfer of money came through and then then also needed to run another exorbitant amount on our credit card.  We could buy a small car for what this repair is costing.  AND no word yet from our warranty insurance.  He just doesn't return phone calls even tho someone else in his office told us that a decision should be made by today.  This time tho, we bought a CAT upgrade for three years and they say it would never be this kind of hassle.  The shop filed all that paperwork.  Lo and behold, at 5:10 they were finally done, even with the test driving.  We were still hooking up our car when the guys were buzzing out of the parking lot.  Two hours later we arrive in Foxboro, Massachusetts.  YEAH ! ! ! However, open the refrigerator to put away the new groceries and find that everything has thawed out and spoiled.  It was never plugged in like they said it was  or as Ken says, someone one tripped on the cord and pulled it out.  Who knows.  Had to throw everything away.  Not only that, they must have taken our bikes down off the rakes but put them back wrong and scratched up the RV. AND the mechanics wore dirty shoes on the bedroom carpet.  It is filthy.  Darn, it is 10:00 at night and I am just getting to sit down.  Guess I need to be happy for the bigger things right now.  Tomorrow is touring in Rhode Island.  Can't wait..
