Just traveling around site seeing!!

Yesterday was veg and laundry day...  but today we got outta here ! ! !  Just touring around Deadwood and Sturgis.  The gal at the front desk here told us about a little place to eat called the Sugar Shack on Highway 385 out of Silver City.  My was it good ! !  She was right on about it.  The landscape here is amazing green, rolling hills, some with trees.

Notice, there is hardly any traffic on the highways.  Can hardly believe it.  I tried counting cars and on these highways I never could count ten cars going either direction, in front or in back of me.  When we later got onto the main Highway 90 with a whole two lanes each direction, I could never count more than 20 vehicles at once.  Totally amazing.

We basically just drove through Deadwood.  Were gonna stop but they have NO free parking and the meters said to pay with your phone.  That stopped us right there.  Have no idea how to do that ! !  LOL

So many wineries in this area but no vineyards.  Interesting..

Then on to Sturgis...  walked around a bit.. Basically empty now
