Quiet Mystic, Connecticut

Change of pace today.  Traveled 75 miles to Mystic, Connecticut.  Then car-shared about three miles into Mystic to take a Mystic River half hour tour on the last coal fired boat.  It was called the Amazing Grace.  Interesting name for a boat that supposedly has never had any problems with guests and/or sinking. LOL.  When we got back on land we toured around the Seafaring Museum. Interesting village re-created the earlier life in Mystic when it was a very busy seaport. Loved the room of old bow ornaments

Great day.  Headed to New Jersey for our touring in New York.  We will leave here at 7:00am and start touring in NY by 2:00.  The drive sounds scary.  Glad I am the navigator and Ken drives !!!
