Seneca Falls, New York

Oh my, what a day.  First we started out the wrong direction and had to unhook the car and turn around on a country road.  Then on the right track we travel out of Ohio, through Pennsylvania and on to New York ! ! !   YEAH...  We see more corn that you can ever imagine.  This country grows more corn than we would have ever known, the other crop we see is soy beans.  Not until New York did we see vineyards, but corn is mile after mile after mile.  Toll roads are not something we are used to but so far since Illinois we have spent $83.25 on tolls. New York is the only state, so far, that has required cash, no credit here.  LOL. I really wonder what these states spend the money on since the roads are not always terrific.  After our day of travel today, we pull into Cayuga Lake State Park where we have reservations only to find out that we left the free Thousand Trails park in Ohio a day early!!!  We were not supposed to be here til tomorrow.  I think we are tired and ready to get to Maine.  That is our first "big" mistake.  This trip has really gone well.  We now have an extra night to figure out plans since we have reservations Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday we get into the park that our "Grand East Coast" trip starts from.  We are excited ! Tomorrow night we will be at Robert Moses State Park which is partly on an island and partly on the mainland in the St Lawrence River.

This is Cayuga Lake....
