Blown Motor

We went over to the RV to get more things out of it and found that the Warranty Insurance Inspector had already been there bright and early.  That was good, however, they are all talking now that the motor failed because the original owner didn't do proper maintenance such as having the valves adjusted after the break in miles.  Cat has no record that they ever had any authorized service done.  Compound that with the fact that the dealer we bought from is now out of business.  Anyone know a good vehicle/product attorney??

Even I can see the damage and I am not mechanical at all ! !  It's getting scary now cuz the Warrenty Insurance carrier was wanting all kinds of stuff faxed including proof of maintenance. Interesting that we could be held accountable for a previous owner and we purchase a policy that we thought would cover it.

On to better things.  We traveled over the the Atlantic Coast to a town in Maine called Wells. We happen to have a Thousand Trails Park there so we rent a cabin. Our first visit to Maine and so, of course, we think lobster!!  The park recommended a nearby place called Mike's Clam Shack.  Was wonderful, never dealt with a whole lobster before.  Boy do they have hard shells but they taste soooooo good with the drawn butter!  Ken had a lobster chowder that was every bit as good too.   The coast in this area is so different than Oregon.  Houses are right near and parking is about three feet from a fence on the seawall.  The sand is wet and packed.  A guy took off on his bicycle while we were there and rode on down the beach.
