Colonial Williamsburg

Today was a nice, relaxed trip to Colonial Williamsburg with car sharing.  We didn't leave the camp til about 9:15 so a great start to the morning. We got on a shuttle bus at the Visitor Center that took us into the "village".  Great way to walk but not too much.

William and Mary College is just on the outskirts of town.  Great place for any history major to study.

We had lunch at the King's Arms Tavern. A great lunch.  Ken started with peanut soup and I had salad.  Then comes the chicken pot pie.  Oh my, oh so good and they keep it steaming hot with the pans that it is baked in.  And then, home made vanilla ice cream for dessert.  Yum...  very good lunch.

Came back to camp fairly early, about 4:00 and carved our pumpkin for the contest that is coming on Tuesday.
