Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

6/19/17....   We have been here since 6/13 and endured rain and more rain. Finally the weather cleared as the majority of our guests came into the park today. We decided to not only try informal get togethers each night anyone was here but to also do an optional Sunset Dinner Cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Almost everyone attended and it was wonderful. Two hours out on the lake with a wonderful dinner of beef and/or salmon with a huckleberry dessert that rivaled any blueberry dessert we have ever had.  Yuuuuuuuum..

On Tuesday, June 20, our official start of the tour, we had loads of food and drink as well as our Introductions, Orientation and first Travel Meeting.  Very busy afternoon/evening. We even tried our version of the veggie train, turned out pretty good.. LOL

and this doesn't even show the hot food...
Bob & Karen Hephner, our great Tail Gunners

Tonight was the official Welcome Dinner at the Cedar's Floating Restaurant about 1/2 mile from the RV park.  It was wonderful, as usual, choice of salmon, prime rib or chicken.  All very good and with huckleberry ice cream sundae. Views were spectacular too.

Taking off early in the morning to cross the border into Canada, wish us good luck with that and then on to Radium Hot Springs.  Will have passes to the hot springs and time to explore or rest...
This is the view often, in the city of Radium Hot Springs!!
