On our way to Rosedale we stopped at Hell's Gate on the Fraser River, rode the tram to the bottom of the canyon for lunch. They showed some great films, had a museum and, of course, a gift shop!! The landscape really changed as we neared Hell's Gate.
This RV park represents a total mix of feelings. Great to be back in the USA and it is the end of a 60 day journey with amazing people on the Fantasy RV Tour to Alaska that we Tail Gunned. It was such a great trip and impossible to describe all the things we saw and did. The pictures really do not do justice to the entire trip ! It is so bittersweet cuz I am also ready to be home for a while but will really miss everyone. A 60 days trip gives you time to really make new friends. In fact a couple of them are coming to spend some time at our house on their way to other adventures! We are excited to see them again.
From here we traveled to Kelso, WA which happened to take six hours, thanks to the Seattle to Olympia stop and go traffic. The next morning we headed home and got there with no problems ! ! About two hours and we were home, sweet home ! ! Happy to be here but oh so hot ! ! Air conditioning on for the first time. Now at 8:00pm we have opened the doors and let in all the nice breezes. Happy travels everyone ! ! Was such a great group to travel with !

Hat Creek RV Park in Cache Creek, BC
This was the only night that we had to dry camp and it was a beautiful grassy area. The rain was frustrating but didn't really stop our tour of the old stagecoach stop. Gift shop and restaurant here too !
The Stagecoach owner was not happy that we were not all done by 4:30. Never smiled once and sure didn't care if anyone else wanted a ride. Interesting lack of customer service here sometimes.
Underground room! !
On the road, again
Alaska's state flower is also here in Canada, LOL. Didn't know that there was a border, I guess ! !

Traveling to Smithers, BC
Big city tonight.... they have Subway, McDonalds and A&W here ! LOL. No wildlife again today... others saw a couple of bears but not us. We saw a dead porcupine on the side of the road. So surprised that this is porcupine country. Boy the fireweed is telling us that the season is about to change as well as the trees are changing color. At home, it is still summer but here they are counting the days to the first snow.
Just, along the way ! Starting to see some farming, none up on the permafrost!
Another glacier, on the way !
