We left home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in a light rain, however, just down the road it started pouring and the wind was definitely there. Since it was raining so much we decided to do what we usually don't do and drive, drive, drive. We ended up in Alturas, California. Stopped at a little RV park that was right off the main road, however, they didn't have any openings left at about 3:30 in the afternoon. They suggested dry camping at the casino just another 1.5 miles away.... Soooooo, that is what we did. Ended up having drinks, dinner and taking advantage of their $5 free play if you play $5. So, our free, dry camping cost us about $35. LOL LOL Since we were dry camping we were in bed about 8:30pm, both of us were so tired that that was not an issue. However, we were up fairly early and on the road about 8:00am. We stopped in Tonopah, Nevada for the night and figure we are about a day ahead of time so extended our stay in Las Vegas to two nights.. Nice break. Need to go by the Fantasy RV Office to pick up stuff for the Rally's. Arrive on Thursday, September 19th about noon. Thousand Trails in Las Vegas now assigns sites which makes it easier for us. All set up and catching up with stuff, for Ken it is a nap!! LOL
We missed Graham's first birthday party while we were on the road... Looks like he had a blast..
Kristina did the cutest shark theme party !!
Loving his first sweets !!
Chris's dad sure had Grahams attention!! So

Pumpkin Patch 2019
Looks like he had a great day and a very tiring one too ! !
The International Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was great as usual. Fantasy RV Tours does a 7 Day Rally followed by a 5 Day Rally. We and our team of 7 other couples worked both Rally's. A lot of hard work and fun went into two very successful Rally's ! !
Fireworks every night were amazing ! Could see them right from our RV front
window ! !
The 7 Day Rally has a day of bus touring to the Turquoise Museum and IPCC (Indian Pueblo Cultural Center) The Turquoise Museum has moved into their new location, an 8,000 sq foot castle. It was a beautiful display of all things tourquoise. IPCC surprised us with Indian dancing even tho we had been told it would not happen during the week.
Love the culture being kept alive !!
On the way home.... Mt Shasta was gorgeous !! Great to see early snow !!
Fall has arrived in Southern Oregon, was so beautiful !!
Home Sweet Home
for just 12 days before we head to Portland and stay in a hotel to fly out early on the 31st for Kona....
